Scan to BIM Process
1 | Onsite Site Scan
Helm technician is available to be onsite within 1-2 weeks of confirmation. The duration of the scan is dependent on the size.

2 | Date Post Processing
Raw scan data is processed and converted to a single unified point cloud file within 3D space within 1-3 days.
[ 2-4 Days ]
3 | Revit As-Built Model
Point cloud is used to create a 3D Architectural / Structural Revit Model for design use (LOD300) within 5-8 days. (CAD & MEP As-Builts available)
[ 5-8 Days ]
4 | Deliverables (CAD + REVIT)
Helm team will submit all files for comments and create a final deliverable package to include 3D Revit Model, CAD’s, Matterport.

Helm BIM offers Scan to BIM Services for all project types and levels of complexity. A typical project for a half day scan, with (1) technician includes up to 30,000 sf space-open layout, post-demo with typical height ceilings (12′). Time frames may vary depending on complexity (i.e. mechanical rooms and high height spaces). Pricing can vary based on:
